CineStager is built privacy-first. The app is designed to work entirely on your device — your 3D scans, scenes, and captures stay with you, and CineStager does not require an account to use.
CineStager does not collect, sell, or share personal information. Specifically:
CineStager uses your device's camera to display augmented reality — placing your scanned 3D locations into the live camera feed. The camera feed is processed on your device for AR rendering and is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Camera access is requested only when you use AR Mode, and you can revoke it at any time in the iOS Settings app.
When you export a still or a top-down map, it is saved to your Photos library or Files using the standard iOS system dialogs, under your control. When you import a 3D model (for example a USDZ or LiDAR scan), it is read from the location you choose and stored within the app on your device.
If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance data with us through App Store Connect. This data is aggregated, cannot be used to identify you, and is used only to fix bugs and improve the app. CineStager does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download and any purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The CineStager website may be served through a hosting provider that records standard, non-identifying server logs.
CineStager is a professional filmmaking tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because CineStager keeps your content on your device and does not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf. You can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app. If you believe we hold any information about you, contact us using the details below.
